The Office of Naval Intelligence awarded GSA Contract holder Advanced Computer & Network Corp. a high density storage project for data analysis and processing.
THE SOLUTION
Five JetStor SAS 760iSD 60-bay iSCSI RAID Arrays with 4TB SAS disks and six JetStor SAS 780JH 80-bay ultra-high density 4U rackmount JBODs from Advanced Computer & Network Corporation (AC&NC).
"Our JetStor 780JH JBOD experience is excellent. We throw 1.5-4 TB drives from various manufacturers both 3.5 and 2.5 inch with a wide variety of Data Types, SAS and SATA. Access is fast and robust. We are running Microsoft Storage Spaces SP 2. We currently have 46 drives deployed and climbing. I expect to have the first unit filled within the year and start working on the second JBOD."
