USAMRIID Awards Research Contract to Vesa Health and Technology (SDVO/8a)

Vesa Health & Technology was recently awarded a contract to provide clinical research support for the Division of Medicine, U.S. Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) at Fort Detrick, Maryland. Vesa Health & Technology will fulfill the requirements by providing a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a Clinical Research Protocol Nurse RN, a Clinical Research Protocol Coordinator, and a Clinical Research Physician. The program's goals are to conceive, develop, and execute clinical and laboratory research in support of the Military Vaccine (MILVAX) Program and the Special Immunizations Program (SIP) in its mission to optimize and coordinate vaccine prophylaxis and, as appropriate the therapy against specified natural and/or artificially acquired disease threats to the Armed Forces of the United States.
The Contract Value is estimated to be $644,684.80 per year
With a Period of Performance from 3/31/16 - 3/30/17 +3 Option Years
