As part of IDIQ contract N69450-15-D-0113 with NAVFAC SE, Adanta, Inc. was awarded a task order to conduct long-term groundwater monitoring at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City, Florida. On this task order contracted for $127,000, Adanta is teaming with Tetra Tech for conducting long term groundwater monitoring to watch for natural attenuation of petroleum hydrocarbon compounds in groundwater. Kimberly Patz, president of Adanta commented, "We owe a great deal of thanks to our teaming partner, Tetra Tech. This was our first large NAVFAC SE task order. Tetra Tech mentored us through the proposal process, and have supported us throughout the project. They have gone out of their way to be an excellent teaming partner."
Under this task order Adanta and Tetra Tech wrote a sampling and analysis plan (SAP) as well as an accident prevention plan (APP) and a health and safety plan (HASP). The necessary partnering meetings have been conducted, and groundwater monitoring will commence in April 2016.
