MDHS Awards Storage Solution Project to Disabled-Veteran Owned Advanced Filing Systems, Inc.

The Miami Dade Human Services Department was faced with the challenge of keeping a growing number of confidential files organized in a limited amount of space.

In response, MDHS called Advanced Filing Systems, a service-disabled veteran owned (SDVOSB) small business with 28 years of filing systems experience business. AFS created a high density mobile filing system with locking Tambour Doors that maximized space and at the same time secured MDHS's thousands of confidential folders. This shelving system increased the filing capacity at MDHS by 300% easily, providing enough storage space for existing files and future growth. We introduced Virtual Labels custom label software to optimize file organization by recognizing patterns of color and barcodes.
