CRI Advantage is one of the first IT Services Support Management (ITSSM) providers in the Pacific Northwest to be appraised at CMMI Level 3 for Services
CRI Advantage, one of the most successful IT solutions and managed services firms in the Pacific Northwest today announced that it has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Services. The appraisal was performed independently by Concept Quality Assurance Labs Pvt. Ltd.
An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates that CRI Advantage is performing at a "defined" level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization's set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and continues to improve over time.
CMMI is the result of more than 20 years of ongoing work at Carnegie Mellon University by members of industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute. Powered by Carnegie Mellon, the CMMI Institute is working to build upon CMMI's success, advance the state of the practice, accelerate the development and adoption of best practices, and provide solutions to the emerging needs of businesses around the world.
"We have been providing IT Managed Services to some of the largest Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies in the world and evolving our IT Services Support Management (ITSSM) processes for the past 15 years," said Monte Brookshier, CEO, CRI Advantage, Inc. "As a result of this experience, CRI Advantage is one of the first IT Services Support Management providers in the Pacific Northwest to be appraised at CMMI Level 3."
"We consider being rated at CMMI Level 3 to be unique among IT Services Support Management (ITSSM) firms with a Small and Medium Sized Business (SMB) designation and therefore a key competitive advantage for supporting commercial business in Idaho, the Pacific Northwest and across the entire US," said Mr. Brookshier. "In addition, being rated at CMMI Level 3 certification will make us a very attractive partner on a much broader range of state and federal government opportunities."
