COGAR Awarded USUHS Contract for Security Guard Services in Bethesda, MD

The COGAR Group, Ltd. (COGAR), a leading professional services, security and protection services firm, is pleased to announce the award of a subcontract by Diversified Protection Corporation (DPC) [www.dpcsecurity.com] for Security Guard Services at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, MD. COGAR and DPC members have a long standing relationship of working together and COGAR is honored to be considered for award.

COGAR personnel provide 24/7 unarmed security guard services for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) complex located at USUHS in Bethesda. COGAR provides personnel who perform protection of the AFRRI complex through roving posts, access and visitor control services, parking and traffic patrol, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and emergency response services. COGAR provides a highly trained workforce to fulfill contract requirements.

This contract was awarded to DPC through the 8(a) competitive bid process for an award price of over $11.5M to include all option periods. COGAR was selected as the best qualified subcontractor for this opportunity. Our team has successfully transitioned this contract within the requested sixteen (16) day period with a contract start date of December 16, 2016. COGAR has a long standing history in providing professional security services on a commercial level to support the military and federal government.
