The COGAR Group Awarded USSOCOM Monitoring Center Support Contract for MacDill Air Force Base

The COGAR Group, Ltd. (COGAR), a leading security and protection services firm, announces that the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has awarded the firm with a contract to perform Support Services for the Monitoring Center at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. COGAR personnel will provide 24/7 Support Services which includes providing a workforce to properly furnish Access Control and console monitoring services.
The COGAR Group, Ltd. was awarded this contract as a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside through the GSA Schedule 84 contract. The contract for the base and all option periods is valued at approximately $4.0mil. This is a brand new requirement and COGAR was tasked to recruit, hire, screen and transition this contract in less than a thirty (30) day period with a contract start date of September 15, 2015.
