COGAR Group, Ltd. Gains Exceptional Status in All Categories on CPARS; Awards "Officer of the Year"

Exception in every category! This is the evaluation rating that The COGAR Group, Ltd. received from the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) for its Security Services contract with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Martinsburg, WV for the Base Year period of performance, Jan. 1, 2017 to Dec. 31, 2017. As a result of this outstanding evaluation, COGAR awarded its highest honor "Officer of the Year" to the contract's Program Manager, Anthony Michaels. Mr. Michaels received a plaque, certificate, cash award and the COGAR Meritorious Achievement Challenge Coin Award.
It is rare that a company receives an EXCEPTIONAL rating in all CPAR categories, but in this case, COGAR shares the spot light with its on-site PM. When COGAR transitioned the VAMC contract, the decision to retain the former PM was questionable, due to the prior company's overall poor performance, but the company did retain Mr. Michaels as the PM and this proves the point - when a company supports its employees and provide them with the tools and resources needed to do their jobs, it can turn a "less-than satisfactory" operation into an exceptional performer.
