NSG Innovations is a small consulting firm exclusively providing geophysical services.  We are a team of geophysicists and geologists working together to provide a model of Earth’s subsurface without ever drilling or digging.  Geophysics refers to a set of tools that measures properties such as electrical conductivity and resistivity, velocity of vibrational waves or sound, gravity, etc.  Our methods impart energy (e.g., electricity, acoustics, radar waves) into the ground and then measure what is returned to various receivers. Using technology, we model an image of Earth’s subsurface permitting us to determine the depth and thickness of soil, solid rock, caves and other features.  This is important because it allows engineers, construction managers, or environmental scientists to evaluate specific conditions in the subsurface prior to construction or construction planning, and environmental assessment and remediation. Geophysical methods are cost effective and intrinsically safe.
