There are many project and contract opportunity portals -- the most notable for federal government contracting obviously being sam.gov. The US Small Business Chamber of Commerce has spent years building a network and coalition for the benefit of small businesses across the United States; we have been able to accumulate a wide-range of entities -- most notably, large corporations, but also local & state governments and colleges & universities -- that are just as much in need to fulfill various requirements and just as eager to work with small businesses, particularly those within their local market area.
We have consolidated and summarized the many opportunities into initial requests for information solicitations so small businesses can more easily digest the various opportunities into consistent formats and respond accordingly with their capabilities as an introduction. Large corporations and the other purchasing entities appreciate the buffer the US Small Business Chamber of Commerce provides to their purchasing agents so as to not get inundated with unwanted or irrelevant responses.
If you found an active opportunity on the public US Small Business Chamber of Commerce's website (www.ussbchamber.org), fill out the following form to submit your interest and capabilities. Be sure to include the USSB Chamber-designated solicitation number. We'll then pass your information on to the designated purchasing agent, and they in turn, can get back in touch with you either with more questions, submission of a full Request for Proposal/Quote, or perhaps, on smaller purchases, just get the ball rolling right away on an order. You are able to submit your capabilities to multiple active solicitations at a time. If your statement of qualifications is more standard, you can include multiple solicitation numbers in a single submission form. If you have multiple versions of your capabilities statement (perhaps honed to a specific offering or specific solicitation), please, submit them separately so the proper information gets to the right person. Please, even if you have submitted your statement of qualifications previously, include it every time for each new submission.
